Iambjm
Decided to do some weeding on Sunday since I haven't had time to do any for the last month. Monday I drove down to Mpls and back to Grand Rapids, was a miserable trip legs itching like the devil. Thought I might have gotten into some poison ivy, checked my legs last night and they are covered with bites, a friend who is an ex-landscaper/gardner came by, took one look and said "unhuh, chigger bites". I have slathered them with Benadryl and I am going nuts...............This is awful
MN Shutterbug
I guess I won't be wearing shorts while I'm exploring the Ely area this week. I was concerned about skeeters.
winniewalleye777
Try the product "Sea Breeze". Worked great for me. Just rub it on and they back right out.
harvey lee
Yes, my granddaughters got the chiggers bad this last weekend at the cabin. Sea breeze works wonderful. My 7 year old granddaughter told her 5 year old sister, they are just bug bites and you will be ok. She said that as she was scratching her leg. glenn57
so what is sea breeze, and where to get it?
Gary Crichton
Glenn you take a empty jar and travel to the ocean. Open the jar when a breeze comes up. Point the jar into the wind and then quickly put the cover back on.

UdeLakeTom
Good one Gary... It must be all the sleep he is getting without mama around.
Gary Crichton
Lets see NO air conditioning yet so sleeping has not been the best. NO home cooked meals either. Anyone starting to feel sorry for me. (just kidding). 11-12 hour work days this week. And finally no one working on the house yet today. Good news is I still have humor and I DO NOT HAVE CHIGGERS.
