Question

Buddies boat runnin like [PoorWordUsage]..It sat for two years b4 he bought it . Was fogged and everything started up fine when he got it. Now it wont idle well at times and shuts off...usually as hes trying to get it on trailer..lol AND when he hits the throttle to take off it bogs down bad. He did say it wont do it if he chokes it when hes taking off full throttle. 89 evinrude 60 hp

Mine did the same when I got it and like his had sat for a couple years. Once I got the old gas out and new gas in and the fog oil ran out it was better. Put a new bulb and hose on it and a couple cans of seafoam and its ran great every since. Of course new plugs. Mines a 93 70hp. It still has it moments at first start if it's sat for a couple weeks but it still has the original injection system that I have been told is rare now a days.
