How far are you from Larchwood? My 15 year old is looking for a horse, and one is listed from that area. Just curious if you know anyone who raises paints in that area.

I live about 25 - 30 miles away from Larchwood. I do not know anybody that raises paints but if you would like me to look at a horse for you I could maybe do that.

If you want you can email me at rhoting@nwicc.edu and I can give you a phone number to call if you wish.

Talk to you soon.

Robert

Thanks for the offer. I asked the guy for some pictures, so I will wait until I hear back from him. I'll keep you posted.

How did you turn out with your search for a horse purchase fishinchicks?? I did hear of someone around that area that raises horses. I don't know alot about them but I have heard of them and met them some years ago in a different endeavor...

The horse we were interested in was listed on two different sites, and was a different breed on each site...so we thought if they couldn't make up their mind on where the horse was registered (they listed it as such), we wouldn't want to deal with them. The people who raise paints are from the same area, but are not the same people.

We have a few calls in to others, but so far, they are not what my daughter wants. If we could spend $5000, it would be easier. smile

An unlimited budget would be fantastic but unfortunately that is the deciding factor to many of our decisions... frown

Are you pretty much set on a paint or would you consider a quarter? I know of someone that has a few nice horses for sale that I could refer you to if you want. Just let me know...

The breed doesn't matter, really. Shoot me an e-mail if you would like: westacre2@frontiernet.net

    • Bernie has not a lick of common sense. He appeals mainly to those fuzzy-brained dreamers and of course that includes many of today's youth,   who despite having great school systems, cannot learn much more than how to operate a cell-phone. A thoughtful politician can dream when he's having a snort or sitting in a duck blind or golfing but when the tires hit the road he's gotta function within some realistic parameters.  Bernie can't do that. Nothing personal Bernie, but it's time to go home and sit down-the election is over and nobody will be interested in you next time.
    • Still best smoked, as they are an oily fish, too.
    • I am having the same issue with mine. I believe it's a gen 2 that's 2 years old but only been out 3 times now. Took it out last weekend for the first time this year and the hose was stiff and the fittings leaked. I contacted jiffy and they said it needed to go to a service center to be repaired. I called the service center and they would have to order the part anyway. I've tried finding the hose around town but everywhere is sold out. That's definitely going to put a damper on the nice weekend coming up. I'm really kicking myself for going with the propane and not an Ion. This auger was my first experience with jiffy after having and Eskimo and strikemaster. My strikemaster was the 3 blade that had some issues with bending the blades. I called them to find out if there was a replacement that I could buy and they ended up swapping it for free and this was after having it for 6-8 years. I'm very disappointed in the service from jiffy on a 2 year old auger with defective parts.
    • For me Tullies have always been rather strong flavored. Always needed a lot of smoke to cover that up.
    • Looking forward to the results of your experiment.
    • And now today is Wednesday.  So There.
    • a quick blurry shot and off they went. still trying to get them together in a good shot. maybe some day.
    • I posted that several days ago, although if you know what interest rates will be doing over the next several years you have better ways to spend your time than posting here.    You would no longer have to work for a living for sure.     To refresh your memory, the 9.1 trillion that you and Rand Paul are so upset about would not increase the debt to GDP ratio, assuming a 5% growth in Nominal GDP, which would be 3% growth and 2% inflation.      Do you have a figure for acceptable level of Debt to GDP?
