Tom7227
Any ideas where to get a decently priced handle that can be locked for a rod storage locker? I keep seeing prices around $60 and that just seems crazy to me. The rig has one of those round deals with the half moon handle that you turn to open it. A friend suggested that I not bother cause if I lock it someone will just break the lock. I guess I'd rather have them work for the loot, and I think the isurance company requires a lock if you want to make a claim.
Northlander
I put those type locks on my boat last summer. I got them from Jay Soderbloom. Tel him Northlander sent ya. www.soderbloom.com
Sandmannd
I got some locks (not on a handle) at a local hardware shop. Just drill a 3/4" hole on the lid and put them in.
wplatehunter
I'm not sure what kind of boat it is, but I have the same style half moon handles. The handles came with locks built into the floor and walls. They are very nice, and the handles cover the locks to keep the water out. They are worth the money. CAMAN
Google "Loc R Bar". Might be a little much for 1 or 2 storage compartments, but if you have 3 or more that you want to lock up it should be cheaper than buying multiple handles.
