Inthehollow
You guys gave me ideas on bird feeders early and it has been great. Indigo buntings gold finches cardinal some type of wood pecker and many other I have yet to learn. I bought a cheap little huming bird feeder that sticks to the window wow for the colors. are all the huming birds the same or are the colors different speices if I remember the bright ones are male but there are all kinds of different colors. going to try to put the trail cam on the inside of the house and see if it will take pictures throug the glass I do not know if a huming bird will trigure the camera will see. thanks Bret
Birdsong
Good for you! There are many varieties, but none that stick around in our midwest area other than the ruby throated, I don't believe. Are you watching in Iowa? Be sure to let us know if the trail cam works.
micpic
Yep, I'm watching, I agree with the ruby troated as the only ones we get here.I haven't been getting any images because I've got raccoons in my bird feeders, Fox or Coyote nailing chickens, and the bug season is going full throtle!Mike
