stacker12
Hey Sled, Just wondering if you could help me out a little. I'm heading up to the Namakan chain next weekend to chase some smallies. I'm new to these lakes and was wondering if you have any experience on them. What are current water conditions like up there? I'm assuming water temps are still in the mid to upper 50s with fish still in presmawn mode? I would appreciate any tips you might have or just what I might expect up there. BTW, if you ever make it down here and want to hit up Mille Lacs I would be glad to give you some pointers or even head out there with you. Thanks,Stacker
SledNeck
Theres big bass in Nam, I know, but Ive never fished bass there before. Ive fished Kab for bass alot and its tough. I know that in fall you can pull big bass off the reefs, but Ive wasted alot of time fishing classic smallmouth areas without much success (as compared to better lakes in the area). The biggest bass Ive caught in Kab have been on spinnerbaits thrown into windswept wavy rocks. The windy-er the better. Give me your email and I got a few suggestions before you head up.
