Black Bellied Plover, walking on water.....

7 posts in this topic

Well, not really, it's just the water covering the little rock perch that this beauty was on. Exposure nightmare in this light quality. I realize the whites on the nape of the bird are a bit hot, but otherwise I was really happy with this one. Taken recently in Duluth, Minnesota. SonyA300, Tokina400mm, iso200, f10, 1/640, cropped, darkened two bright spots in the bg, levels, USM. Comments and critiques always welcome.

Regards,

Shawn Zierman.

Very nice water level shot. You did a great job with the lighting you had to work with.

I am not much for C&C as I have only been in this about 6 months myself. I am happy when I get a shot that works shocked. I do enjoy your postings on my images as it makes me look at things a little differently.
