Jim Hudson Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 SuperiorThe Ashland area is the norm for walleye fishing around these parts.. For slippin.. Not many folks do it around these parts. The fish are usually scattered around a bunch and trolling techniques are usually the name of the game. Except pre-spawn and a bit of post spawn stuff.. There are walleyes that do use the many piling areas around the Ashland shoreline, would be a spot I would try slip bobbering to find a few.
