St_Croix_Banks
What do you guys think about Ercoa pontoons. They have the hexagon pontoon shape vs. round cylinder. They say the ride higher and more stable in the water. Any thoughts?

Hafnutz
Not much different than any other pontoon except the logs are formed on a brake instead of a roller. Can't see how they can ride any higher if they are the same approximate size. I drive by their plant weekly. Looks like it's been deserted except in the Spring. sparkyaber
My father bought one because it was a local company. He has been very happy with it. I haven't noticed it riding any higher than any other pontoon. Fit and finish seemed to be quite good on it.
marine_man
I agree with the sentiments on here... they're a good pontoon and have been around for a while!marine_man
