Ding repair

4 posts in this topic

I've got a vehicle with a ding in it- it looks like it was hit with a baseball. It's not bad by any means, but if you see the vehicle from the side it is noticable.

Are there any sneaky tricks to trying to fix, or at least improve, a ding like this in a vehicle? I seem to remember hearing something about heating/ice or maybe a suction cup???? Any tips that I could try to avoid paying someone to fix it?

I heard dry ice pops 'em out. Never tried it though.

I used to hear that with minor dents, let them sit in the hot summer sun and pour ice water on them and it pops them out
