spoiler
Is there any mapping software available for this lake. I see some navionics canada software but they don't say anything about dogtooth. I do have a paper map from dogtooth resort, just looking for something better. Thanks
james_walleye
I don't believe there is anything out there other than what you got. If you find something i'd like to know. We just got back, what a great lake. 9 fish between 28-30". Both the other guys in the boat had 30".
WalleyeWarrior
I also don't believe there is anything else out there. James:We're heading up a week from Saturday. Did you feel that the lake was right on schedule or a week behind in where the 'eyes were? We're expecting the fish to be where they would be the first part of June and not mid-June. magnum mike
Pack accordingly. We FROZE at Shikag. That was the first time I didn't scream at the old man for having a fire.
WalleyeWarrior
Any stupid human tricks from any of your cohorts this time, Magnum? I figured a guy like you would just have a few cocktails to warm the cockles of your soul and you wouldn't feel the chill.
james_walleye
Things are definately behind. Heck the water was 46-47 all week and finally the last day nudged 50 in a few areas. The males were all still milting. That being said the lake fished for us like it usally does in late May. They were where they always are and heck they still might be hanging close to those areas when you are up there. Id bet it will not fish in mid June like you normally see it. magnum mike
We teamed up with the senior citizens this trip so I didn't have any stupid humans with. One of the seniors was the camp stuntman and had balance issues TWICE. We fished pretty hard but it didn't take much coaxing to get the boys to come in a little early and get a jump on happy hour. The Clown Oil took a brutal beating and we ran out of ice every night. We had to switch to Blue the night we had a fire.
AceintheHole
I have been there twice and every time they gave us a map and marked the most productive spot.
