cell phone?

Got drenched today on the water and my cell phone got a little wet as well. Not sure if it will recover and i don't want to go to the local ATT store to buy a new one. Any options for me? Has anyone bought one online, one the "unlocked" ones? I do use it a lot so I need to try to rectify this semi-quickly.

Try Craigs-list. I see a Blackberry going for $75 and lots of I-Phones which will cost a ton more.

If I were to guess I'd say your Phone will be fine once it drys out!

Soak your phone in some white rice for a few days

This works great,

Just remove the battery and put in in a few cups of rice make sure it is completley covered in a sealed container then let it stand for at least two days but more like four.

My kid replaced her ATT "issued" phone with a Go-Phone from WM and it works just fine. She just called in the info under the battery and it was activated.

Take the battery out and let the phone dry a couple of days. Never heard of the rice thing, but it's worth a shot.

Pull the battery and then put the phone in a plastic bag of uncooked rice and leave it overnight. Works good for remotes too.

I've bought a couple used cell phones off [YouNeedAuthorization], with no problems. Just make sure it's for use with ATT.

I've also bought a few phones online with no issues. Make sure the seller is reputable and that it will work with ATT.

Rice worked! I had moisture in the camera lens and no more now! Back in action! Thanks for the tip!
