Anyone ever see this before.From a bird I took this week.My old man shot one like this in Missouri before not sure why they are nubs.

Frostbite injury healed over. See it on chickens all the time.

Tough buggers - I always think about turkeys in late Jan/early Feb when its -40 with the wind chill. Up in a tree more or less motionless for 14+ hours at night - amazing any make it through the winter.
