Looking for some comments on these two transducer options. Last year, I had a 27c with the 50/200 and loved it. I fish with downriggers quite a bit. The 50 Khz would show the balls and the thermocline pretty easily to 100-140' depths. Question is will the 83 Khz do as good of a job? What could I expect with the 83? Have heard the cone is wider than the 50 and should expect better reading than the 50.
