More Yard Birds

Thanks to all.

Sadly,I saw the first few apple blossom petals begin to fall in the wind yesterday. Like a 15 year old Lab,I have to make the most of the time they are here because soon they will be gone. Usually, the Cedar Waxwings show up to chew on them about this time-sure hope they do. Next? why, apples of course! followed by the perennial ritual of bumping the trunk with the front wheel of the riding mower and having a nice 3/4 pounder land on my head. You know,I don't remember the beauty and birds the apple tree provides when I'm hit on the head with one or more apples. Nope,I threaten to fire up the Stihl Rancher and produce a stump. Why is that? Gotta work on that. I get the same mad, irritated look as this guy........

You nailed that white crowned sparrow image, love how the contrasty crown really shows well in the overall scheme of the image. The mystery sparrow is definately a song sparrow, I like it's cocked tail.
