Winfield Talks Stalled

He still has one more year left to play with the Vikings, the way things have been going, most likely he will be a FA next year. Decent CB's have been getting big money in the last few years, most likely his agent has him talked into testing the market next year.

Hey leechbait, I am so glad you caught a walleye this past weekend, your previous avatar was kinda freeky! grin

I hope they sign Winfield, but I dont want them to overspend on him either.

All I caught were little bitty guys so I had to resort to one of my old ice fishing pictures until the piggy comes along.

They probably want to see more from Allen before they decide to jump in with buckets of $$$$ right now. I suspect if they really like Allen they may let him test the open market next year. Winfield's a great player but he's getting up there in age and he's going to cost a truckload for them to re-sign now. It's kind of like the Birk decision...you just never know how it'll turn out. Hope they re-sign him.
