CrappiesNeyes
Is there any way to isolate the depthfinder circuits from the amp draw when starting the big motor? Sometimes when I start the big motor it turns the depthfinders / GPS's off and I have to restart them. Thanks in advance. CNE
Surface Tension
There was a thread a while back.Turned out the starting battery didn't have enough CCA(cold cranking amps). When starting the outboard the electronics would turn off. Other then that keep the starting battery fully charged, and connections clean. GBPackerNut
Take a look at the post I placed in the other forum.http://www.fishingminnesota.com/forum/ub..._st#Post1878291
Deep_Sinker
I also had this problem and found a line filter/monitor made by hummingbird that solved my issues when starting. The filter was purchased locally for about $25. Sounds like the issues with lowrance is they shut off to protect from surges which apparently happens when starting the motor.
