Ah... that depends a lot on what kind of kicker motor you have.

What brand and size is it? If you know the year that would help as well, but not required.

Bottom line, it's the idle stop that needs to be adjusted, presuming your cables are adjusted properly (and the throttle linkage is getting all the way back to the idle stop)
