BAD BAD LUCK

I decided to try catfishing last night for the first time of the year from shore so i left home drove the two blocks for bait got there dropped the tail gate grabbed the minnow bucket and pail and got my bait came back out and put the bait in the cab so that the bucket would not tip over and hopped in and the truck and headed to pick up my friend that was going with when i got about 8 blocks from the bait shop i realised that i had forgoten to close the tail gate and stopped to close it and realised that my entire taclebox was not in the back of my truck any more so i turned around and back traced my steps and some one had already picked it up because it was no where to be found so now 4 days before the fishing opener i am trying to throw together a new box for fishing saturday this is not fun

I would never wish that on any one expecialy 4 days before opener i have half of a fishing box for in the morning but i dont have 4 lures that i bought just for opener that i had to buy off of an internet site that the collors are discontinued i realy wish i had them for tomorrow

Thats to bad!1 But go back to Bait shop and see if it was turned in, and place a add in the paper. There are a lot of honest people left ot there. good luck!
