Okoboji Open tournament

11 posts in this topic

Kudo's to the tournament director and staff. Again a well run tournament. Both Mike Daloia and myself look forward to this tournament. Yes, it's a early tournament and we get to chase bass together after a long, long winter. But, the hospitality of both towns and the great people in the area make it just that much better. I truely hope the Iowa anglers realize what a unique fishery they have in the Okoboji chain of lakes. Thanks again to the director and area residents for making it a great walleye opener and bass tournament.

hmm good ol okoboji, i remeber a few years ago i was dating a nice girl named molly karelis (Her father, paul karelis is the Principal at worthington high school) and her and her father brought me out to lake okoboji for wall-eye opener and all 4 of us in the boat limited out no problem! i was rly surprised that a lake in south-west minnesota had that many walleye!

Yes, terps, Okabena in Worthington. but Okoboji is pretty darn special lake in itself. Okabena has plenty of eyes though!!! PK is a good guy.

Home of 10,001 lakes. Unless you want the chain of lakes. Hehe.
