Merc Kiekhaefer....looking for specific part(s)

I accidentially broke off the throttle arm on my old Merc outboard. Just wondering if anyone would happen to have the part or parts needed. I thought I would try local before trying an online store.

It is a Mercury Kiekhaefer 200...20 HP. Serial # 2249989. I believe it is a 1967. It looks exactly like this...

Here are some pictures I took of the piece that is broken...

It broke at the "elbow" joint that moves the arm from vertical to horizontal. The other piece of this joint attaches to the engine. That too will have to be replaced. Notice I have used vice grips and duck tape as a cheap, temporary fix. It still goes!

So if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it!!!

That stinks man. I think you can find a couple of used outboard salvage yards around central Minnesota that may be able to pull those parts for you. Try searching this forum for "used outboard parts"

I had that exact motor, a few years older though. It was handed down to me in rough shape. I had a little shop in the town of Dorset (outside of park rapids) fix it up for me. It used to be "Bobs" but now i think its called Johnson's on the water service or something like that. They had ORIGINAL mercury parts and set me up nicely when i went there. Might be a place to start? The place had been around for year and years, they have piles of older outboards for parts there.
