    Bird id help

Thanks guys for the quick ID response ! It's still hanging around this morning! Maybe another result of climate change?

    Bird id help

This bird has hung around our feeders for about a week now and I've never seen this kind before. The closest ID in my bird books is a Towhee, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?
  6. Saw my first Cicada emergence 3 days ago, pretty cool! It's been buzzing away now in the backyard!

Got the feeders out, I see there are some orioles and hummers spotted in so. MN, but not here yet. Should be soon!
  11. Thanks for the heads up! We'll have to check our options when we get down there. Maybe we'll just have the guys go , but either way will be good and also warm!
  12. I'm looking for a 1/2 day guided trip around this area for 4 of us around Feb. 25th. We don't care what we fish for as long as we can catch something. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks!

    Which 1 man ?

I just cleaned up the poles with a degreaser and then put some dry graphite lube on them and it is much better! Thanks again!

    Which 1 man ?

Thanks Rod, I have heard that before, but I thought WD 40 would be OK so I thought I'd give it a try. I can testify now that it does not work and I will try the dry graphite!

    Which 1 man ?

I'm on my 2nd season with the Clam Legend and it is warm, comfortable, roomy enough and lighter than most. However the poles are a big negative for me, this fall I lubed them all up with WD-40, to no avail. I have had 3 other portables and this one is the absolute hardest to get the poles up. To get a pole to click into the hole takes a lot of effort, I've gotten to the point where I don't even try to get them clicked in, just extended .
