  1. Carvers Corner: What are you working on now???

A couple more. More of a folk art pike all hand paint, and a little muskie hand and airbrush.
  2. Carvers Corner: What are you working on now???

Finally got around to working on some decoys. these were some blanks that I got at the Alexandria decoy show, just had to find and weight them.
  3. Muskie stocking question for spearers

I tend to agree with pikestabber, I am a spearer that does not oppose musky stocking.
  4. Alexandria Decoy show

Same here. About the decoy, you will probably want to buy that back for double next year when you see all the mid 30 monsters I'm gonna have laying on the ice.
  5. Alexandria Decoy show

We are thinking about going. If we go, one of those grumpy decoys might be coming home with me.
  6. HSO's LOOK and RELEASE VIDS

Got out for a short sit this afternoon and this one come in. He stuck around for a while, at least until the wind blew the door open.
  7. HSO's LOOK and RELEASE VIDS

    Is it working now?
  8. HSO's LOOK and RELEASE VIDS

http://youtu.be/wsuhkskOimM Got out for a bit this afternoon, speared a 23, had this one and one bigger that swiped at the decoy when I was jigging it. Would hsve liked to get that one on video.
  9. Darkhouse Spearing Photos Gallery

I got two new spears yesterday, a stainless and a standard Amish. The deal was WAY too good to pass up.
  10. Darkhouse Spearing Photos Gallery

First fish with my new spear. I would hsve prefered a nice 25" pike, but none showed up today and I wanted to try the spear.
  11. Darkhouse Spearing Photos Gallery

A nice 24" from this afternoon.
  12. Those magnets work good for retrieving lucky duck decoys too. Stupid wind. Haha
  13. Carvers Corner: What are you working on now???

Working on a hand painted cisco with oil paint. There is definitely a learning curve to using oil paint. I have to give credit to all the hand painters, it is a lot harder to make them look realistic than an airbrush for me.
  14. Carvers Corner: What are you working on now???

I dont Make too many anymore, just a few here and there.
  15. Carvers Corner: What are you working on now???

A few recent ones. A 14" cisco, 11" clown cisco and an 11" pike.
