  2. Some good mixed drinks recipes

"Dean Matin" simple and easy, Put a drink in 1 hand and have a smoke in the other hand.
  3. pictures of your wheeler

Lil ripper, let me know more about them tracks, I have a 08 700 ranger and was thinking of putting them on, let me know how you like them and make with a price if you can,, Thanks Rick
  4. Hole sleeve?

I use them , leave them full length. so what it they are up and out of the hole, it stops minor mishaps, cell phones, keys pliers etc from going down the hole plus it really stops the air. I drill my holes and clean out some slush, place the tube in the house hole and them take the remaining slush and seal the bottom. Your holes will stay open in the coldest weather and it really helps keeping the house sealed with no drafts.
  5. Cool Time Lapse Mille Lacs

Lookin good, I'll be there Sat, look for the red Gmc 1 ton out on 3 mile, lol
  6. Cant shift when cold

Thanks, I wou;d have never thought of the case, I was also ready to change tranny fluid but everyone I talk to says there is no way water to get in there unless it sat underwater, and although it has been trough water and mud it never sat or was above the vent tube. Thanks again I will try that when I get home tonight.
  7. Lakemaster chip question

I may have a H20 I will sell, already chipped, plug in and other extras.
  8. Cant shift when cold

I have a 08 700 ranger, when it gets cold I cannot shift it from reverse to hi or low until it warms up. Now it has only been about 20 for the low I can only imagine it when it hits -20 out on the lake This looks like a sealed unit on both ends. Now my brake cable is even sticking, This is open on the bottom and I can see how crud and water gets in there. Please help. I checked Polaris and they want 120 for the cable on the shifter. Any thought people? Thanks Rick
  9. deer harvest reports ? anyone

  10. warm socks????

Years ago about 40, My dad had some military issue longhorns. something like 35% poly 35% wool and 30% cotton. Now for the last 15 years or so all I wear is all poly longhorns, No cotton after 30degree's or less. In fact 5 years ago while elk hunting in wyoming I asked a rancher what he wore, this guy was born and raised and lived in the mountians everyday of his life. He said one thing "Cotton Kills" So I guess when you life is on the line in very extreme weather everyday you kind of trust his words. Or trust Steve words, he lives in a different climate then the rest of us too
  11. Cabin break in...meth!

I would still go and stay the night. If it were a lab you would find all kinds of evidence, ( they do not care where they throw stuff) The wood stove would have leveled the cabin period!. Empty propane tanks, Medicine box;s and wrappers laying all over inside and out. empty plastic bottles , burnt residue in the pans, dirty drying sheets etc. but the most notible item would be the smell from amonia/propane. This is used for freeze drying the liquid meth. Sounds like some teenie bopper and his girly has a little weekend getaway, thus the pans in the sink upside down to drain. either they were some what responsible by keeping it half way clean or they planned on using more often but now have got spooked with the sherrif and you guys showing up. Go hunt take the boys, just one more thing to chat about years from now ( more deer camp stories.

  13. Food Plots

Ok so I am newre then new to this food plot thing, Planing on putting one in next year on new aquired land, Have to knock down saplings ( very thick from a cutting 6 years ago) but I am still going to do it. Labs or anyone else my plot will be about 2-3 acres in size. I plan on clearing the land and work the soil then seed. About how much seed would I need and the cost asst. with it? also This will be north of grand rapids, only plot for miles, what do you think I should grow? and why
  14. I have ( I think) 2.5 x 10 x50 , It's a bug ole beast but does it let the light in. I hunted with a 4 x 10 many years always left it on 4, Now I always leave it on 2.5, You should be just fine unless you hunting close 20 yards or so. Where I hunt I can only see about 50 feet in 1 direction and up to 100 yards the others, well guess where the deer come from. My old 4 x 10 never had a problem, that was until I looked through my new one , lol
  15. Head to Becker, They can build you one with all the different combo's available ( cheaper then buying one all put together too!. Tell them what you want it for and thwey will have your head spinning like a yo-yo when you walk out, do some research then go back and tell them what you really want now. They are very helpfull. Smilin Bob, I will make sure I stop in and say howdy next time I am in there ( psst I need some bling added to mine) lol
