  1. Nope, in Mankato. I guess the neighbors have named them so I might not be too popular if I cooked one up at the neighborhood get-together!
  2. We live in a small development on the edge of town and the same 4 are in our backyard everyday. Lots of rabbit dump everywhere!
  3. Selling the i-pilot upgrade for Terrova. Includes everything listed on the following link: http://www.minnkotamotors.com/Products/i-PILOT-ACCESSORY---TERROVA/ $300
  4. Is anyone looking for an i-pilot for Terrova? I upgraded to the link.
  5. The way I understand it is as follows: Trolling Motor unit must be upgraded to newest software to be able to upgrade the Wireless Remote software. Download both software files onto SD card and put into Humminbird console then power up console and it may upgrade automatically or you might have to find upgrade options in the menu system. Then the remote can be upgraded after that. I just upgraded from i-pilot to i-pilot link, so I am looking to get rid of a i-pilot head unit for Terrova.
  6. $800 for Link and sell old pilot for $250, basically $550 just to get the Follow Contour option.
  7. Curious what others have done when upgrading to i Pilot Link. Did you sell your complete TM unit and buy new or were you able to sell just the i Pilot portion and then swap in a new i Pilot Link?
  8. I would think I could get more headroom from the canopy with the center lift because I could adjust the 2x's so the pontoons are only a couple inches from the lift frame. Also could angle cut the ends of the 2X's to eliminate any hang-ups. My inlaws have Sea Legs on theirs and they do work pretty slick, also can work as an anchor when fishing in shallow water. However their 1yr old pontoon ended upside down after a big storm, not sure if the wind blew it over or if it was a wave/wind combination, he probably didn't have it up high enough though. Since we already have a decent lift with a canopy probably won't be looking at Sea Legs, but hoping the canopy and bimini top isn't more of a hassle than installing the snap-on cover all the time!?! Although I do agree with the convenience of using the pontoon as an extension of the dock, we used to hangout on our old pontoon quite often while it was docked with no canopy on the old lift.
  9. What do you find is the best setup for a pontoon lift. 1. Bunks for each toon 2. 2 by's standing on edge lifting against the deck 3. Other I assume the 2X10 or 2X12 would be the best scenario because it would also help guide the boat on and off, but wanted to hear if anyone has any helpful tips. Thanks, Kevin
  10. When turning on the key, normally you can hear the fuel pump run for a second or two, but twice this weekend the fuel pump would not run after turning on the key and the engine would crank but not fire. The display shows N so it is in neutral, and the kill switch is on, otherwise it wouldn't crank. Left it sit overnight the first time and it started the next morning, the next time messed around with the shift buttons and turned the key on and off and then th pump ran and it fired up. Has anyone had an issue like this before?
  11. If using 1 lb'ers I always have 2 tanks on my Big Buddy, and if using a hose I still leave a 1 lb tank connected on the other side just to eliminate any possibile leak out of an unused connection.
  12. Early this fall we had a young loon follow us while trolling and constantly come up to our poles tips and then dive down and go under the boat. Thought for sure it was gonna find our bait sooner or later but it finally gave up. We also seen loons diving down and then the seagulls would swarm in because all the bait fish would soon start surfacing.
  13. My neighbor had new sod and the winter after he had lots of damage from voles(just like your pics) i think he said he sprayed his lawn with castor oil, now after this winter he had none and I had some minor damage.
