  1. WOW has this board been DEAD. Still getting it done here in CNY a couple of saltwater trips a few open water trips and another trip to Alaska has made for a pretty good year. Even spent a couple of days in Barrow, AK. Nice trip in a small plane Still a little ice left in the middle of August

Twin 14" crappie 15 1/4" yellow perch 18" landlocked Atlantic 4+ lb largemouth 34" tiger muskie 18" fat smallmouth bass Not huge at 9" but first round pumpkinseed ive seen in awhile thats not from Oneida Lake
  3. Been a pretty decent season so far have fished 38 days on 15 different waters. Pictures are of 3 buddies and one of their kids and some of myself We will stay at it until the ice is gone or until I leave for vacation on April 1st.
  4. Good day with Freddy Sr & Jr, Timmy Toe, Josh, Scott and a couple of Freddy's buddies. Thanks again Jr for the snowmobile ride Ended up with 23 perch to 13" plus Josh donated 7 additional perch and a burbot.
  5. Timmy-toe and I hit the ice today along with 3 of my buddies. Ice conditions were good to sketchy... some areas had 4" black 2" white other areas 2" black 1" water 2" white. We got fishing by 10am and the fish were negative until 3pm then we starting hitting crappie and a few gills everyone ended up with 7-10 keeper crappie and a few keeper gills. Slow for first ice but we got her done. 2 of my buddies today drove all over central/southern Adirondacks yesterday and this morning and only found safe ice on 2 lakes one of which we were fishing on. Mad dog

  7. Be careful out there guys things are not safe on 99.9% of the lakes. There are reports of guys (some I know personally) going through the ice around the state. I know guys that have traveled all over the Adirondacks to only find safe ice on small ponds.
  8. Well its that time of year to hit the saltwater and hit her hard. Been out twice for Haddock/Pollack, once for bluefish, once for blackfish, once for seabass and hopefully one more trip on Monday for Pollack.
  9. Hope everyone weathered Sandy we dodged a bullet unlike the coast.
  10. Been out a five times on three local freshwater lakes this summer for bluegills, perch and the elusive walleye. IT was good to get out and fish.... Decent largemouth on a bluegill rig. Average smallmouth at 16" on a perch rig. I've seen blue perch and perch with too many and not enough stripes but I've never seen one like this. Only walleye taken a clipped fish from last years stocking efforts. Typical bluegill from one of the trips
  11. Biggest Halibut I caught
  12. Got back Tuesday from our 2012 Alaska trip. We are already planning next years trip. Glad we didn't clam here yikes that's alot of people Silly Moose silly whale heading towards Seward harbor icebergs? Snow? almost 4,000 feet above sea level they had 900 inches/75 feet of snow this past winter Same mountain top yikes snow in the valley bears only a 3.5 mile hike to get here no rainbows caught. Hike another 1.5 miles to catch Artic Grayling but when we got there found out the season was closed until midnight Heading out on one of our fishing trips Razor clams mmmm Yellow Eyed rockfish Ling Cod
