  2. And the winner is..... Last weekend my family was the lucky winner of a new Alumacraft V14 T, Suzuki DF15 4 Stroke with Electric Start, and Karavan trailer. Because we already own a boat I am forced to sell. This boat is BRAND NEW and has never been in the water. It comes with a new battery, gas tank, trailer jack and FULL warranties. Dont pay retail or sales tax on this one! check it out. Many photos are available. Contact me if you are interested. Boat is located in NW Suburbs of Minneapolis. Asking $4500. SOLD
  3. Help picking a new boat!!

I am gonna say all three are way heavier than 1500 lbs. Here is what I found. Now add a 400-500 lb motor. Crestliner SH 1850 - 1470 lbs Lund 1800 Fish - 2415 lbs (must inlcude motor) Trophy 190 - 1580 lbs [This message has been edited by vikes40for60 (edited 07-09-2004).]
  4. Problems with my 2004 Silverado 2500HD

All I would say is buyer beware. I did a quick google search and typed "Chevy Transmission Problems". Lets just say that they are not isolated. I found once site where four different people outlined that the transmissions were replaced 3-4 times before 100,000 miles.
  5. Confused on MMC cards

The ProMap Contour Series Map have Waconia on its offering. It comes in a MMC format. I use the MMC chip for Leech, Mille Lacs, Gull and Winnibigosh in my X-15. They are real nice. I am sure Rick will chime in on how you could order via this site and support both and Lake Maps. [This message has been edited by vikes40for60 (edited 06-24-2004).]
  6. Quickest way to Baudette?

    Private plane.
  7. splash guards ????

The Wave Wackers come assembled except for the brackets which have to be drilled into the transom. I am not your typical handyman but knocked out this in a hour or so. If I can do it, anyone can.
  8. splash guards ????

This thread is always ongoing. I will do my best to summarize. Here are your options: 1. If you are handy and adventourous, go ahead an make your own. I would guess that you would spend 4-6 hrs (maybe more) and abotu $100. 2. Wavewackers - I believe this is the highest cost. However a better quality product. 3. Whitecaps - A very nice product, not as well built, but will do the job. Costs is slightly less than Wave Wackers For me I bought the Wackers but my needs are a little different. Im like my wife, I like high quality goods that have a high perceived value. Its not that the whitecaps wont get the job done, I juts felt that a $30 price differnec was not enough reason to move away from the industry leader.
