Peep Sight, CVA Wolf Magnum Black Powder

I've got a CVA WOlf Magnum that i picked up a few weeks before last years muzzleloader season. Used the sights that came with the gun, the big bright beads. They just don't work for me. I have very low confidence, and the beads are too big for long shots.

I want to get a peep sight, but am having a very hard time finding one.

When a deer is 150yds out, I want to put the bead on the heart, not cover up the whole deer.
So, can someone recommend a peep for my CVA Wolf?

Talk to a local gunsmith. We spent money on williams sights. I am partial to all metal sights, and have been known to take a file to front sights.

Definitely want all metal sights...and never thought about filing the front sight down smirk Good Idea.

I don't have much access to seaching gun accessories online, is there any retail stores in the Mankato/Owatonna area that will have these Williams Sights?

I ran in to the same sight dilemma on my CVA Kodiak. I tried the williams peep sight, but thought the aperture was too small and if I removed the small insert, it was too big, that is all personal preference though. I ended up getting a Truglo muzzlebrite system and love it. I use the rear ghost ring sight that has the 2 green fiber optics on either side. I got my sights at the big C in Owatonna, but I looked at their website and I dont think they carry them anymore. Shouldn't be too hard to track down though. I will look tonight when I get home and see if I can find my williams peep. If I can, I will give it to you since I have no need for it. I live in Montgomery, so not that far from Kato.

Thanks TroutKingMaster for your insight. I really prefer the aim small miss small theory, and my eyes just can't handle those large glow bead sights. If you do find your williams, I would take it off your hands and can give you a fair price for your help!!

I have converted most of my inlines to Williams peep sights. One of them has the Lyman57SME which also works well. A small front gold bead works well for my old eyes. I don't have much problem getting on target with the peeps.

The best way to have big bucks is not to shoot that big buck.
